This is about the effect of the Obama health care bill going through congress now. The bill would give free (don't you believe it, you and I pay for it through taxes) health care. I just want to explain how I see the end result of this type of legislation. First the illegals come into this country against our laws, then we don't prosecute or even deport them. Instead we give them free education, clinic care and at the same time we exempt them from taxes. We bend over backwards to accommodate these ILLEGAL aliens by giving them these free services and if they do not know how to access these perks, we explain how in a foreign language. Is this really Christian care as we were taught?
The answer is simple, legislate a good, fair and honest piece of law that benefits all. We would give these illegals dignity, not the feeling of a dependent class of people. It would require a price to be paid, honesty and hard work. There are many ideas out there which would achieve the goal of dignity for the illegal aliens, please ask congress to pass legislation which would achieve the goal of honesty.

One day a poor pregnant woman came to A conservative christian.
“Oh, wise one” cried the woman. “My husband was killed in an auto accident. I am an illegal alien. I cannot support this child in my belly. I want to have an abortion. ”
The Christian gazed upon the poor woman and replied “No. Woman. God loves every child..even the unborn. All human beings are created equal and are endowed at creation with certain fundamental rights among which is the right to life. Go and have your baby and forget about an abortion”
So the woman had her baby.
The baby was born gravely sick.
It needed a doctor and expensive medical care.
So the woman returned to the Christian
“Oh wise one. My baby is sick. But I am an illegal alien. My child needs expensive medical care. Can you help me.”
The Christian lectured the woman sternly:
“You chose to come her illegally. If your child is sick and you cannot afford a doctor you have no one to blame but yourself. Your baby is not our responsibility. We want nothing to do with it. We only care for our own. Take that wretched child back to where ever you came from”
The newborn child died after much suffering

For starters why was the pregnant woman in the United States? Probably because her own county would not care for her. If we were to use the reasoning espoused in your comment the United States would be morally obliged to care for every sick mother and child in the world. How long before American tax payer money would run out. I am sure that you can see that it would be an impracticable situation.
The second point in your comment seems to imply that we as Americans are heartless and cruel. The United States is the most generous nation on earth (I might ad that polls show conservatives donate more than liberals) I would like to know why you use the term Christian in your comment. Religious beliefs have nothing to do with charity. Please be more careful when using an example.
You give a "tear jerk" reason for the American people picking up the cost of medical care. Is it the responsibility of the United States government to take my and your money and give it to non Americans? I hope you don't think so. As mentioned above, where does it end?
